Seattle Pacific University’s library provides areas for collaboratively viewing media. The following instructions describe how to access the technology in the Media Room on the Lower Level of the library.

To Watch DVD or VHS
#1 Turn on the TV by pushing [power] on the Septre remote control
#2 Turn on the DVD/VHS by pushing [power] on the Samsung remote control
#3 To change the TV source: push [source] on the Septre remote control and cycle to [AV]with the navigation controls
Push [Return] (center arrow) when the cursor highlights [AV]
#4 To watch a DVD or VHS cycle between the two sources on the Samsung remote control until the source desired is selected
To View Media Room Computer
#1 Turn on the TV: push [Power] on the Septre remote control
#2 Turn on the computer. Push buttons on the keyboard to wake up the computer or power on the computer if it is off
#3 Again, to change the TV source: push [Source] on the Septre remote control and cycle to [VGA] with the navigation controls
#4 Push [Return] (center arrow) button when the cursor highlights [VGA]
The TV is now set up to view media from the desired source.
Tech Tools Available For Checkout
The Tech Desk, on the Lower Level, provides tech tools for checkout. Tools are available to current students and your Sea Pac Pass is required.

- Audio/video adapters available for MacBook computers, iPads, iPhones, and iPod touches
MacBook Pro Computers
- Four-hour checkout
- Must reamin in library
- Inquire at Tech Desk for availability
