NEC 46-inch LCD Display Instructions

There are a number of library rooms equipped with a 46-inch LCD display. Each display has digital audio/video connectivity with a HDMI  cable and analog audio/video connectivity with a VGA cable and 1/8-inch stereo adapter.


Library Rooms Equipped with a 46-inch LCD Display

Lower Level
- Media Room – redirects to specific instructions

Second Level
- Conference Room A – redirects to specific instructions
– Administrative Conference Room

Third Level
– Conference Rooms B-F
– Study Room 4 (near restrooms)
– Graduate/Faculty Study Room

Connecting Computer to Display

#1 Select either the VGA or HDMI cord to connect a personal computer to NEC display. *See the “Tech Desk Tools” note below to learn how to check out a MacBook Pro or video adaptors.

#2 Turn on the LCD display by pushing [Power] on the remote control. Select [HDMI/PC] to cycle input sources. Select [HDMI 2] to use the HDMI cable or select [PC]to use the VGA cable with the 1/8-inch stereo cable.

NEC_remote #3 When you are finished please turn off LCD display by pushing [Power] on the remote control. Return the cables to the metal basket.

Tech Tools Available For Checkout

The Tech Desk, on the Lower Level, provides tech tools for checkout. Tools are available to current students and your Sea Pac Pass is required.

MacBook Pro Computers

  • Four-hour checkout
  • Must remain in library
  • Inquire at Tech Desk for availability
